I have always had an interest in photography. When my children were very young I wanted as many professional photos from their sporting events as I could possibly collect. As my children have grown older, and I've since stepped down as their coach, I have been able to begin taking my own photos of them.

Over the past years I have been able to learn a great deal more about photography, and have been fortunate enough to upgrade my camera equipment. I know that it is difficult for most families to tow a camera around hoping to get good sports shots of their children. This is why I am happy to share my photos and expertise with our team families.

Photos offer us all priceless memories. I hope you will enjoy collecting my photos as much as I enjoy shooting them.

F A Q S

Below is in answer to the most frequently asked questions I receive:

Why do you take pictures of players other than your own children?
The entire game does not revolve solely around my own children, and therefore I have much free time with camera in hand! Since I enjoy taking pictures anyway, you also reap the benefits.

Why don't you charge us anything for these photos?
While I have elsewhere earned pay for my photography, I have no interest in charging same team families. I am actually using our team schedule as my own personal training ground while I continue to perfect my craft. My goal is to eventually offer my own professional youth sports photography services to neighboring youth clubs.

How many photos do you take each game?
On average I take around 150 to 200 shots per game. Following each game I will have a first review of the photos (in camera) and begin eliminating any that may be blurry, duplicates, or images that are simply not that exciting.

How much time do you spend preparing photos for our team gallery?
It takes me about an hour per game to prepare the photos. This amount of time involves downloading images to my computer, further elimination of lesser images, color correction, cropping, saving images at a 600 x 450 pixel ratio, then adding them into a display HTML page. All files are then uploaded to my server.
